Chambers & Partners' guide to America’s leading business lawyers ranks individual lawyers who are recognized by their peers and clients as the state's top attorneys for achievements in their respective practice areas. In addition, it reviews and ranks law firms by practice areas in each state. Quattlebaum, Grooms, Tull & Burrow PLLC, as a firm, received the highest ranking possible in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Real Estate by Chambers USA for law firms in Arkansas. Mr. Quattlebaum, Mr. Grooms, and Mr. Frazier were all ranked in the highest tier individually in their respective fields of Commercial Litigation, Real Estate and Zoning/Land Use.

The Best Lawyers in America bases its listings on a year-long survey of the legal profession in which attorneys nationwide are asked to rate the top practitioners in their specialties in their jurisdictions.

Super Lawyers bases its listings on ballots sent to lawyers in practice more than five years. After receiving nominations, the background and experience of each lawyer is analyzed. Finally, a blue ribbon peer panel evaluates candidates from their practice areas. Mid-South Super Lawyers included Mr. Quattlebaum, Mr. Grooms and Mr. Tull in a list of the Top 50 Lawyers in Arkansas.

Mr. Quattlebaum was recently selected as a member of the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America.  Selection to this elite group is through a group of veteran legal journalists who review reports on thousands of outstanding lawyers practicing in nearly 100 different areas.  From those, 3000 lawyers and judges are selected as finalists from which the 500 leading lawyers are chosen by Lawdragon.  Fewer than .01 percent of all lawyers in the United States are included as members of the Lawdragon 500.

Quattlebaum, Grooms, Tull & Burrow PLLC was recently recognized in the 2008 edition of Benchmark:  America's Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys as one of only four "highly recommended firms" for litigation in Arkansas.   Comments about the firm included that the firm "can manage cases with multiple millions of documents and do it really well," and that clients appreciate the firm's "good legal analysis and communication."  Mr. Quattlebaum, Mr. Tull, Mr. Grooms and Mr. Chiles were also acknowledged individually for their accomplishments by the publication.

Mr. Quattlebaum was recently invited to become a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. The Foundation is a nonprofit, independent national research institute organized in 1952 to conduct empirical research on the law, legal processes and legal institutions. Election to membership in The Fellows is a high professional honor bestowed upon a lawyer by his or her colleagues. Under the By-Laws of The Fellows, lawyers whose professional, public, and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the objectives of the American Bar Association are chosen for membership from the roster of the Association. Membership in The Fellows is limited to one-third of one percent of the lawyer population of each state plus the District of Columbia, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Mr. Tull and Mr. Quattlebaum have been recognized as charter fellows of the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary that includes for Fellowship less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Composed of trial lawyers identified by their peers and judges before whom they practice based on outstanding ethical character and exceptional trial advocacy skills, the Litigation Counsel of America maintains over 40 committees for purposes of monitoring changes in American and international law that affect trial advocacy and the administration of justice.
