Billy C. Pharis

Bankruptcy, Debtor Creditor Rights

Mr. Pharis is a native of Van Buren, Arkansas, and his primary areas of practice are bankruptcy and debtor creditor rights.

Mr. Pharis attended the University of Arkansas Fort Smith and Southern Methodist University, playing basketball at both institutions, before earning his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Arkansas in 2004.  As a member of the Arkansas Razorbacks basketball team from 2002-2004, Mr. Pharis was voted team captain and received the Mr. Razorback Award.  Following his graduation from the University of Arkansas, Mr. Pharis played professional basketball in Denmark.    

Mr. Pharis graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville in 2008, where he was a member of the Arkansas Law Review, Student Bar Association Vice President, and winner of the William H. Sutton Barristers Union Trial Competition 2007.   Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Pharis played another season of professional basketball in Denmark prior to joining Quattlebaum, Grooms, Tull & Burrow PLLC. 

Mr. Pharis was admitted to practice law in Arkansas in 2009. He is also licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.
