Mr. Ghormley is a transactional attorney whose practice emphasizes advising clients regarding business transactions and related issues including entity formation, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance. He also advises parties to real estate transactions on issues such as financing, development, land use, and environmental matters.
Mr. Ghormley’s transactional practice is informed by his complex litigation experience which has involved issues such as lender liability, fraud in the loan procurement and real estate transaction contexts, trust fund defalcation, insurance coverage, eminent domain, and land use. Mr. Ghormley’s experience in environmental matters has involved site remediation, issues of nuisance and trespass under common law, and claims for cost recovery and contribution under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA).
Mr. Ghormley was admitted to practice in Oklahoma in 1999 and in Arkansas in 2000.
