Mr. Cate is a litigation associate in the firm's Northwest Arkansas office. His practice areas are complex business litigation and appeals, and he has worked in a range of matters including contractual disputes, commercial disputes, media law, defamation, products liability, employment discrimination, election law, condemnation law, ERISA claims and intellectual property.
Mr. Cate served as law clerk to the Honorable G. Thomas Eisele, Senior Judge, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas from 2001-03. He also served as Assistant Research Analyst to the Tennessee General Assembly, Senate Judiciary Committee in 1997 and 1998. Mr. Cate was admitted to practice in Arkansas in 2001 and in Tennessee in 2002.
